Request to delete your account and associated data

How to Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your account and associated data, please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at:
  2. Subject line: "Delete My Account - [Your Name]"
  3. Include in email:
    • Your full name as registered in the app
    • Your country, state, and district
    • Confirmation that you want to delete your account

What Data Will Be Deleted

Upon account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Your name and location information
  • All test results and progress data
  • Leaderboard entries and rankings
  • App preferences and settings
  • Device identification data

Data Retention Period

We will process your deletion request within 30 days of receiving it. After deletion:

  • Local app data will be removed immediately
  • Server-side data (Google Sheets) will be deleted within 30 days
  • No personal data will be retained beyond this period

Important Notes

  • Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
  • You will lose access to all your progress and test results
  • If you reinstall the app, you will need to start fresh

Alternative: Clear App Data

If you prefer to clear your data without contacting us:

  1. Go to your device's Settings
  2. Find Apps or Application Manager
  3. Select Abacus Academy
  4. Tap Storage
  5. Tap Clear Data and Clear Cache

Note: This only clears local data. Server-side data will remain until manually deleted.
